Srishti Srivastava Joins the Jury at L'Oréal's Engage & Care Corporate Coalition Hackathon
Infiheal's Founder and CEO, Srishti Srivastava, joined the jury for the Engage & Care Corporate Coalition Hackathon, hosted by L'Oréal and conducted by Big Bloom. The hackathon brought together participants from Decathlon, Monnoyeur, AXA, Sanofi, BNP Paribas, and L-Acoustics, among others, around a problem that sits squarely at the intersection of workplace culture and mental health: closing the distance between generations at work.
The Problem the Hackathon Was Built Around
Intergenerational disconnection in the workplace is a quiet but significant contributor to younger employees' mental health challenges. When people do not feel seen, understood, or genuinely connected to the colleagues and structures around them, isolation compounds over time in ways that rarely show up in engagement surveys until it is already causing real harm.
The Engage & Care coalition was built on the recognition that social innovation, designing better conditions for human connection at work, is as important as any clinical or technological intervention. Four dedicated teams worked through the brief in real time, developing ideas that could close the generational gap in meaningful, practical ways, followed by three-minute pitches and jury questions.
The Winning Idea
The winning idea, proposed by Team 4, was a blind lunch arranged by the company to pair employees across different generations. No app. No dashboard. No algorithm. Just a simple structure that puts two people who would otherwise never share a table across from each other, and gives them a reason to talk.
What made it work was precisely its simplicity. In a room full of people who build and evaluate technology for a living, the winning solution required none of it. It was a good reminder that the fix for isolation is rarely more technology. Often, it is just a better reason to sit down with someone.
That observation sits close to how Infiheal thinks about Healo too: technology that supports connection quietly, without trying to replace it. The goal has never been to substitute human relationships with an AI companion, but to lower the barriers that keep people from reaching out, whether to a platform, a professional, or another person.
A Jury Built for the Conversation
Alongside Srishti, the jury included healthcare founders, public policy experts, and mental health advocates including Aude Caria, Angèle Malâtre-Lansac, Catarina Mastellaro, Holly S., Jaleh Bradea, Mercy Mkandawire, and Sébastien Leroy. The breadth of expertise in that room reflected how seriously the coalition takes the social dimensions of workplace mental health, bringing together clinical, policy, and lived-experience perspectives to evaluate ideas that have to work in practice, not just on paper.
