Infiheal Wins at BRICS WBA Women's Startup Contest 2026
Infiheal is proud to share that it has been recognised as one of the Top 3 winners in the Healthcare and Wellbeing category at the BRICS WBA Women's Startup Contest 2026, at the BRICS WBA Women-Led Development Summit held at The LaLiT New Delhi on 9 September 2026, during India's BRICS Presidency.
About the Contest and Summit
The fourth edition of the BRICS WBA Women's Startup Contest was held in New Delhi from 9 to 11 September, on the margins of the 18th BRICS Summit. Organised under the BRICS Women's Business Alliance, in partnership with FICCI and the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, the contest aims to promote women-led startups, foster cross-border business cooperation, and connect innovative ventures with investors and business leaders across BRICS nations. The 2026 edition selected 26 winners from 14 countries, with winning projects spanning energy, infrastructure, artificial intelligence, healthcare, education, agriculture, robotics, and aviation technologies.
The summit itself brought together women entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators from across BRICS and partner countries, with the inaugural session featuring Chief Guest Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Parliament; BRICS WBA Global Chairperson Avarna Jain; FICCI Past Presidents Jyotsna Suri and Naina Lal Kidwai; and FICCI Secretary General Anant Swarup. Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal also addressed the summit, speaking about strengthening the ecosystem for women-led businesses and enabling them to scale impact across borders.
A Recognition From a Global Pool
Being named among the top three winners in the Healthcare and Wellbeing category, selected from thousands of prominent companies across India, China, Russia, Brazil, the UAE, South Africa, and other BRICS nations, makes this recognition especially meaningful. Nitya Srivastava and Aashima Sharma represented the Infiheal team on stage to receive the award, which was presented by Avarna Jain, Global Chairperson of the BRICS Women's Business Alliance; Aarti Gupta, CIO of FICCI; and Anna Roy, Programme Director at NITI Aayog.
Infiheal also extends a heartfelt congratulations to Anna Meshcheryakova of Third Opinion AI, Russia, and Dr. Tammy Tan of Hymonbio Co. Ltd, China, on being named co-winners in the Healthcare and Wellbeing category.
Why Healthcare and Wellbeing Matters
Being recognised in this specific category carries a significance that goes beyond the award itself. Mental health is healthcare. Infiheal has always believed that access to mental healthcare should not be determined by geography, income, or stigma. In a contest that draws from nations representing more than three billion people, many of whom face the same compounded barriers to mental health access that Healo was built to address, that belief feels more relevant than ever.
BRICS WBA Global Chairperson Avarna Jain has noted that the core principle guiding the Alliance's agenda is ensuring the benefits of innovation and economic progress reach women and communities that have historically been left behind.
