Healo at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Mumbai, Taking Steps Towards Infiheal's Next Chapter in Europe
As Infiheal continues exploring the European market, Founder and CEO Srishti Srivastava and Head of Partnerships Archie Mutta met with Hilde Koning, Executive Director India, and Swati S., Area Director Western Region, at the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), hosted at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Mumbai. The conversation continued an ongoing dialogue around Infiheal's potential expansion into the Netherlands, and what building responsibly in a new market genuinely requires.
About the NFIA
The Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency is an operational unit of the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, established in 1978 and having since supported nearly 5,000 companies from around 50 countries in establishing or expanding their presence in the Netherlands. It operates as a free, independent partner for foreign companies at every stage of expansion, connecting them with regional economic development organisations, government institutions, and business networks across the Netherlands through the Invest in Holland network.
The NFIA's focus on Life Sciences and Health makes it a particularly relevant partner for Infiheal. The Netherlands has long positioned itself as a European gateway for health technology innovation, with deep public-private research partnerships, a sophisticated regulatory environment, and a healthcare ecosystem that takes digital health seriously as a discipline rather than treating it as a peripheral add-on. The NFIA has previously won the United Nations Investment Promotion Award for Excellence in Promoting Investment in Health, which speaks to how deliberately the agency approaches this sector.
A Conversation About More Than Market Entry
For a company working in mental health, expanding across countries carries a responsibility that goes well beyond understanding market dynamics or regulatory frameworks. What counts as care, how people talk about emotional struggle, what stigma looks like in one culture versus another, these things are not details that can be standardised or assumed. They have to be understood by spending time with people who know the ecosystem from the inside.
That was the spirit in which Srishti and Archie approached the conversation with Hilde and Swati. Not as a market entry briefing, but as an opportunity to learn from people who understand the Dutch healthcare and innovation landscape deeply, and to think carefully about how Healo can become genuinely part of it, rather than simply being available in it.
Why the Netherlands
The Netherlands sits at a meaningful intersection for what Infiheal is building. It has an advanced digital health infrastructure, a strong tradition of mental health awareness relative to many European markets, and a geographic and regulatory position that makes it a credible entry point into the broader EU ecosystem. For a platform already live across 165 countries, the question is no longer whether Healo can reach people in the Netherlands. It is whether it can become embedded in the local ecosystem in a way that is clinically credible, culturally appropriate, and built on the right institutional relationships from the start.
Looking Ahead
Infiheal is grateful to Hilde, Swati, and Manasi K. for hosting a warm and genuinely insightful conversation. The team looks forward to taking these conversations forward and to exploring what Infiheal's next chapter in Europe can look like, thoughtfully, and in the right company.
